Each of our pieces is proudly hand-crafted with care by three generations of the Archote Family. They have become a tradition for us as we hope they will for you.
We guarantee, that should our weapons ever break in battle against another wooden weapon, we will fix or replace them. There are a few things required of you to maintain your warranty and can be found on our weaponry care page.
Crossbows
All of the working parts of a Hollow Earth Crossbow are guaranteed for life. The blades, strings, and lashings will wear out over time but can be replaced at the responsibility of the owner. There are a few things that will hold the warranty of your crossbow and can be found on our weaponry care page.
What to do if your weapon breaks
So in the heat of battle your hear a crack and look down to see you have a break in your weapon of
choice. Fear not! We are here to help you.
Here's what you need to do to get back on the battlefield:
1. Cease use immediately to prevent further damage.
2. Complete Repair Request Scroll with details about your piece and the break.
3. Send a missive with images of the damage to hollowearthservice@gmail.com. Please include:
*A couple of close-up angles of the damaged area
*One image of the full piece
Our crew will assess the damage and be back in touch with next steps.
Code Of Honor
Your blade was made for honorable battles, and our guarantee follows that same code.
⚔️ We repair or replace weapons that fall in fair battle, meaning they’ve crossed blades with another
wooden weapon.
⚔️ When a blade meets stone, steel, or the unyielding ground, such trials fall outside the bounds of our
guarantee, and we are unable to offer replacement. We have a keen eye for spotting this type of abuse.
⚔️ Still, all is not lost. If your weapon has suffered such a fate and can be restored, our crew may be able
to repair it for a fee. Services may include:
Quillon replacement
Quillon reglue
Blade repair
Cracked grip repair
A Few Important Things To Note
Your sword awaits two fates:
⚔️ If your weapon can be repaired, we will request that you send it to the workshoppe. Shipping to and from our HQ is the responsibility of the adventurer. Our crew will give it every chance at a second life, though not all breaks can be repaired. Should the damage prove too great once work begins, your piece will instead be replaced.
⚔️ If a repair isn’t possible, we will forge a worthy replacement under our lifetime guarantee. Each
weapon is handmade, so no two are exactly alike. While we will provide a comparable replacement (for
example, an English longsword for an English longsword), we cannot guarantee an exact match.
⚔️ Return shipping to your castle, will be invoiced once your repair or replacement is complete.
Adventurers are responsible for shipping costs to and from the workshoppe unless otherwise noted.
⚔️ Crafting takes time. Replacements will take several weeks to months depending on our production

We reserve the right to deny replacement or repair under our guarantee if we determine it has been misused.
